A little decadence, this painting was inspired by delectable cupcakes and my sweet tooth.

Finding myself torn between photographing the cupcakes in various settings and wanting to devour them, I decided I must paint one! What a task, to paint and not eat it. My first attempt at painting gold on china, with the aim of portraying pure bliss.
